Dr Ohnmar May Tin Hlaing, wife of the junta energy minister Myo Myint Oo, is profiting from fossil fuel and mining companies that operate in Myanmar through her environmental consultancy firm in a clear conflict of interest, according to campaign group Justice for Myanmar.

Vast quantities of timber from Myanmar continue to enter the United States despite sanctions on the country’s state-controlled timber monopoly, according to a new report from U.K.-based watchdog group the Environmental Investigation Agency (EIA).

အခုသီတင်းပတ်အတွင်း ဖိလစ်ပိုင်ရေတပ်က အိမ်ရှင်အဖြစ် လက်ခံကျင်းပတဲ့ အာဆီယံ ရေတပ်စစ်ဦးစီးချုပ်များ အစည်းအဝေး (ANCM) မှာ မြန်မာစစ်တပ်ရဲ့ ရေတပ်စစ်ဦးစီးချုပ် ဗိုလ်ချုပ်ကြီး မိုးအောင်ပါဝင်တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပြီး  ၂၀၂၄ ခုနှစ် အတွက် ANCM ရဲ့ ဦးဆောင်မှုကို ပေးအပ်ခဲ့တဲ့အပေါ် ကန့်ကွက်ကြောင်း Justice For Myanmar အဖွဲ့က ထုတ်ပြန်ပါတယ်။
