A new Justice For Myanmar investigation alleges the Myanmar military junta and associated companies have used trade fraud and proxy companies to sustain aviation fuel imports despite international sanctions and scrutiny of the junta’s deadly air campaign.

Myanmar’s military authorities and associated companies have been accused of operating a US$109.5 million international trade fraud scheme involving the alleged misclassification of aviation fuel as diesel to conceal the nature of the imports and evade international scrutiny.
