ANZ has been accused of helping businesses circumvent international sanctions on the Myanmar junta and its conglomerates, with transaction records showing it has repeatedly acted as a third-party mediator for foreign companies shuttling money into a military-controlled bank.

ANZ Bank is facing further calls to shutter its Myanmar operations, with newly released records showing its transactions with a bank that provides financial support to the military junta.
