Oljefondet, formelt kalt Norges Bank Investment Management, har tidligere måttet svare for eierandeler i selskapet Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd.

Danske pensionsselskaber er nu gået i gang med at undersøge deres investering i det indiske selskab Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone. Det sker, efter at en rapport fra organisationerne Australian Centre for International Justice og Justice for Myanmar har peget på, at selskabet har en direkte forbindelse til militærstyret i Myanmar.

Omtrent 100 mio. kr. fra danske pensionsselskaber er investeret i virksomheder, som har tråde til militærjuntaen i Myanmar.

S&P Dow Jones has announced that it will remove Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (Adani Ports) from its Sustainability Index in response to evidence presented to it by human rights and environmental groups in March.

The share price of Adani Ports is down by 4.9% as of 12:00 pm. This comes after the US-based S&P announced that they will be removing the company headed by Gautam Adani — one of India’s richest men — from its Dow Jones Sustainability Indices.

New York-based stock exchange S&P Dow Jones Indices has said that it has removed Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd from its sustainability index due to the company’s “business ties with Myanmar military” stated news reports on Tuesday.
