Corporations such as the Japanese firm, Kirinto do business with the Myanmar military companies, providing it with the financial means to continue to commit genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The President’s Office last week said it would investigate the appointment of two directors from Myanma Economic Holdings Limited (MEHL) to lead the government’s customs department and the Myanma Port Authority. (Also in Burmese)

Brig Gen Kyaw Htin is director general of #Myanmar’s customs department & Major Ni Aung is managing director of the port authority. Shockingly, both are also directors of military-owned MEHL getting personal benefits to maximize military profits at public expense. End the cartel!
