More civil society groups are calling for an investigation into the apparent conflicts of interest of the United Nations Special Envoy on Myanmar, Julie Bishop, after it emerged last week that she was advising a controversial China-linked rare-earth mining company.

မြန်မာစစ်အုပ်စု၏ အကြမ်းဖက်မှုများအား လောင်စာဖြည့်ပေးနေသည့် Airbus ကုမ္ပဏီကြီး၏ လုပ်ရပ်များ ချက်ချင်းရပ်တန့်ရန် တောင်းဆိုသော လက်မှတ်ကမ်ပိန်းတွင် ပြည်သူများ လက်မှတ်ထိုး ပါဝင်ပေးကြပါရန် အဆိုပါကမ်ပိန်းကို ဦးဆောင်သူများက တောင်းဆိုထားကြသည်။

ကုလသမဂ္ဂ အထွေထွေအတွင်းရေးမှူး၏ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာအထူးကိုယ်စားလှယ် ဂျူလီဘိရှော့သည် တရုတ်နှင့်ဆက်နွှယ်နေသော စီးပွားရေးလုပ်ငန်းများတွင် အကျိုးစီးပွားပဋိပက္ခများ ရှိနေနိုင်သဖြင့် စုံစမ်းစစ်ဆေးမှုများ ပြုလုပ်ပေးရန် ကုလသမဂ္ဂအတွင်းရေးမှူးချုပ် အန်တိုနီယို ဂူတာရက်စ်ထံ မြန်မာ့အရေး တက်ကြွလှုပ်ရှားသည့် အရပ်ဘက်အဖွဲ့အစည်းပေါင်း ၂၉၀ က မတ်လ ၁၇ ရက်နေ့တွင် အိတ်ဖွင့်ပေးစာ ပေးပို့တောင်းဆိုလိုက်သည်။

မြန်မာနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ ကုလသမဂ္ဂ အထူးကိုယ်စားလှယ် ဂျူလီဘိ‌ရှော့ ၏ လုပ်ပိုင်ခွင့်ကိုရုပ်သိမ်းပြီး ၎င်းစီးပွားရေးနှင့်ပတ်သက်သည့် အကျိုးစီးပွားဆိုင်ရာ ပဋိပက္ခရှိ၊ မရှိ စုံစမ်းစစ်ဆေး၍ လူထုထံ အသိပေးရန် ကုလသမဂ္ဂအထွေထွေညီလာခံ-UNGA နှင့် ကုလသမဂ္ဂ အထွေထွေအတွင်းရေးမှူးချုပ် ကို အရပ်ဖက်အဖွဲ့ ၂၉၀ ဖွဲ့က မတ်လ(၁၇)ရက်နေ့ ရက်စွဲဖြင့် တိုက်တွန်းတောင်းဆိုသည်။

ကုလသမဂ္ဂအတွင်းရေးမှူးချုပ်ရဲ့ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ အထူးကိုယ်စားလှယ် ဂျူလီဘစ်ရှော့ (Julie Bishop)ရဲ့ စီးပွားရေးလုပ်ငန်းတွေဟာ အကျိုးစီးပွားပဋိပက္ခ ရှိ၊ မရှိ အမြန်ဆုံးစစ်ဆေးဖို့ ကုလသမဂ္ဂအတွင်းရေးမှူးချုပ် အန်တိုနီယို ဂူတာရက်စ်ကို မြန်မာ့အရေးလှုပ်ရှားတဲ့ နယ်ပယ်စုံက အဖွဲ့အစည်းပေါင်း ၂၉၀ က မတ်လ ၁၇ ရက်နေ့မှာ တောင်းဆိုလိုက်ပါတယ်။

တရုတ်အစိုးရပိုင်ကုမ္ပဏီတွေနဲ့ အကျိုးစီးပွားဆက်နွှယ်နေတယ်ဆိုတဲ့ စွပ်စွဲချက်တွေကို  ကုလသမဂ္ဂအတွင်းရေးမှူးချုပ်ရဲ့ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ အထူးကိုယ်စားလှယ် ဂျူလီဘစ်ရှော့ပ်က ငြင်းဆိုလိုက်ပါတယ်။

Justice For Myanmar has stated that transnational criminal activities cannot be eradicated without dismantling Myanmar’s military junta and its network of illicit businesses.

The U.N. Special Envoy on Burma Julie Bishop denied accusations made about a conflict of interest in her role after becoming a strategic advisor to Energy Transition Minerals (ETM) in January through her consulting firm.
