Myanmar’s military regime is reportedly threatening at gunpoint bar and shop owners who don’t stock a beer manufactured by its junta-owned company.

Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia refused to attend an annual Air Chiefs Conference chaired by Myanmar’s regime this week.

အကြမ်းဖက် စစ်ကောင်စီက အိမ်ရှင်အဖြစ် လက်ခံကျင်းပနေတဲ့ အာဆီယံ လေတပ်ဦးစီးချုပ်များ ညီလာခံကို တက်ရောက်ဖို့ အာဆီယံအဖွဲ့ဝင် ၅ နိုင်ငံသာ လာရောက်ခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရပါတယ်။

မြန်မာနိုင်ငံက အိမ်ရှင်အဖြစ်လက်ခံကျင်းပခဲ့သော အကြိမ် (၂၀) မြောက် အာဆီယံလေတပ်ဦးစီးချုပ်များ အစည်းအဝေးကို အင်ဒိုနီးရှား၊ မလေးရှား၊ ဖိလစ်ပိုင်နှင့် စင်္ကာပူနိုင်ငံတို့မှ တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ခြင်းမရှိကြောင်း စစ်ကောင်စီဝါဒဖြန့် မြန်မာ့အလင်းသတင်းစာဖော်ပြချက်အရသိရသည်။

အာဏာသိမ်းစစ်ကောင်စီ ဦးဆောင်ပြီး စက်တင်ဘာလ ၁၃ ရက်က  နေပြည်တော်မှာ ကျင်းပခဲ့တဲ့ အကြိမ် (၂၀)ပြည့် အာဆီယံလေတပ်ဦးစီးချုပ်များညီလာခံကို အာဆီယံနိုင်ငံတွေထဲက ငါးနိုင်ငံသာ လူကိုယ်တိုင်တက်ရောက်ခဲ့တယ်လို့ စစ်ကောင်စီရဲ့ သတင်းထုတ်ပြန်ချက်တွေအရသိရပါတယ်။

အရပ်သားတွေအပေါ် လေကြောင်းတိုက်ခိုက်မှုတွေမှာ အဓိကတာဝန်ရှိတဲ့ စစ်ကောင်စီရဲ့ လေတပ်ဦးစီးချုပ် ဗိုလ်ချုပ်ကြီး ထွန်း​အောင် ဦးဆောင်ကျင်းပနေတဲ့ အာဆီယံ လေတပ်ညီလာခံကို အာဆီယံ အင်အားကြီး လေးနိုင်ငံက လူကိုယ်တိုင် မတက်ရောက်ဘဲ ကျန်ငါးနိုင်ငံသာ တက်ရောက်လာပါတယ်။

Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines are boycotting a major regional defense conference this week because it will be held in Myanmar and chaired by the military junta, local media reports said.
