Facebook has expanded its ban on Myanmar’s military-linked businesses, removing more pages, groups and accounts.

မြန်မာစစ်တပ်ပိုင် စီးပွားရေးလုပ်ငန်း အားလုံးကို Facebook ပိုင် Meta ကုမ္ပဏီက အရေးယူပိတ်ပင်ကြောင်း ထုတ်ပြန်လိုက်သလို စစ်တပ်စီးပွားရေး လုပ်ငန်းတွေရဲ့ Facebook စာမျက်နှာတွေကိုလည်း ဒီကနေ့ စပြီး ဖယ်ရှားလိုက်ပါတယ်။

Meta Platforms Inc, formerly known as Facebook, said on Wednesday it would ban all Myanmar-military controlled businesses from having a presence on its platforms in an expansion of its earlier curbs on the country’s security forces.

မိုဘိုင်းဆက်သွယ်ရေးအော်ပရေတာ Mytel အပါအဝင် စစ်တပ်ပိုင် စီးပွားရေးလုပ်ငန်းများကို အရေးယူပိတ်ပင်သည့်အနေဖြင့် ရာနှင့်ချီသော စာမျက်နှာများကို Facebook က ယနေ့ (ဒီဇင်ဘာ ၈) စတင်ဖယ်ရှားနေသည်။​

ဖေ့စ်ဘုတ်နဲ့ အင်စတာဂရမ်တို့ရဲ့ မိခင်ကုမ္ပဏီ မက်တာ ‘Meta’ က သူတို့ပိုင် ဆိုရှယ်မီဒီယာ ပလက်ဖောင်းတွေ ပေါ်ကနေ မြန်မာ အာဏာသိမ်းစစ်တပ်ရဲ့ ထိန်းချုပ်မှု အောက်မှာ ရှိနေတဲ့ စီးပွားရေး လုပ်ငန်းတွေကို ကိုယ်စားပြုနေတဲ့ ပေ့ဂျ်စာမျက်နှာတွေ၊ ဂရုပ် အုပ်စုတွေ၊ အကောင့်တွေကို ဖယ်ရှားပါတယ်။

မြန်မာဘရူဝါရီလီမိတက်ကို စစ်တပ်ပိုင် ဦးပိုင်ကုမ္ပဏီက သိမ်းယူဖို့ကြိုးစားနေတာနဲ့ ပတ်သက်ပြီး တရားမျှတမှုရရှိဖို့ စင်ကာပူနိုင်ငံရှိ အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာ ခုံသမာဓိရုံးမှာ ဦးတိုက်လျှောက်ထားလိုက်တယ်လို့ ဂျပန်အဖျော်ယမကာကုမ္ပဏီ Kirin Holdingsက ဒီဇင်ဘာ ၆ ရက်နေ့စွဲနဲ့ သတင်းထုတ်ပြန်ပါတယ်။

Japanese beverage giant Kirin has filed for arbitration at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre over the termination of its joint venture with Myanmar military conglomerate Myanmar Economic Holdings Limited (MEHL).

At least three civilians have been killed and dozens injured in Myanmar after a military truck was caught on camera speeding towards a crowd and running down unarmed protesters.
